8 or Bust! TMG Enterprise Publisher status by 12/31/2010

Trilogus Media Group, LLC is quickly becoming the mouse that roared in the independent publishing market, and by year's end intends to qualify for the fullest range of services possible and available from partner Amazon.com, by the publication of its 25th title with the online retail giant.

Update! TMG has already been invited to apply for this coveted status by the retail giant, based on its current product offering of 16 titles, along with no less than a dozen past editing and staged for layout and design. More to follow, if the required catalog available through Trilogus Books is deemed sufficient to warrant the additional benefits for which this designation will become so vital for the continued growth and development of the Indie company.

This rendition of "The Highwayman", a song written by Jimmy Webb and performed by Dallas Tanner, himself a veteran musician and composer, is the first created using the digital orchestration and recording technique that will permit Trilogus Music to work remotely across the globe with its artists. While only a preliminary test, it shows what can be done by even the smallest upstart indie recording company. Trilogus Music is a division of the Trilogus Media Group, LLC.

Latest Cover Art "Sneak Peek":

Magnificent Infidels, by Richard L. Marksberry and Martin P. Williams

July 24th, 2010:  Trilogus Books is now both a publisher and affiliate reseller with Smashwords, the eBook publisher at the forefront of digital distribution to major ebook retailers such as the Apple iPad iBookstore, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo, Stanza and Aldiko. Currently, Smashwords supports all major reader formats, with the exception of the Kindle, but will soon offer that eBook format, as well. TMG titles which have undergone their initial Amazon release, and are deemed ready by Trilogus and the author as ready for global release, will then be made available by these sales channels, as well. Between it's rock-solid reputation, and relationship with other independent publishers, Smashwords is a natural  choice for Trilogus Media Group to expand the availability of its novels to new markets.

July 15th, 2010: "The Dare Island Enigma", a YA cautionary tale by our own Blake Templeton, has been released for global distribution on Labor Day weekend, and the long-awaited  first nonfiction title for Trilogus Books, "The Medusa File", by Craig Roberts, is set for a July 31st, 2010 release. A heavily-researched book on criminal conspiracy and cover-ups involving the U.S. Government, TMF is the first of 3 such titles, along with two novels which will be available by Fall from this well-known author. In other news, TMG is actively engaged in the expansion of its music and film divisions, through production and negotiation with individuals wishing to showcase their talents through the independent publisher. More on the current multimedia coups to follow...

July 13th, 2010: On July 31st, TMG Books will release the 7th title in its Classics Compilation series, "The Well at the World's End", a four book epic written by English author and designer William Morris. First published in 1896, it is the fantasy cycle which inspired both C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia", and J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit", and "Lord of the Rings". In the latter case, many of the story elements of the trilogy and its prequel are nearly identical to those of the book which both renowned authors gave credit. Virtually every fantasy author since has also drawn heavily on its influence. The single volume collection is adorned with an antique book cover image and Celtic fonts used in both the cover layout as well as the interior design.

July 7th, 2010: In a cross-country trek that covered over 2600 miles in a single week, TMG publisher Dallas Tanner traveled from his native South Carolina to Oklahoma and back again, to meet with virtually all of the current and future authors, musicians and film makers who are now or will be part of the Trilogus Media Group family. It was an opportunity to reunite Dallas with longtime editor Billye McCarty, as well as meet new Trilogus authors James Somers and Craig Roberts. A 4th of July cookout capped the festivities, which brought together the rest of the crew, and resulted in a creative display of talent and exchange of ideas that lasted into the evening. The trip was not only a break from the indie publication's hectic schedule, but brought the virtual company's names and faces together, renewing friendships and forging bonds that will last for years to come. Special thanks to Billye and Craig for their hospitality!     ...

June 27th, 2010: James Somers is working with our staff to complete his much-anticipated duology, "Hallowed", which consists of the novels "Hallowed be thy Name", and "Hallowed Ground". The two titles follow the trials and tribulations of Dr. Trenton Hallowed and his cousin, Jonathan Hallowed - one filled with radioactive isotopes, the other frozen cryogenically for thirty years..

Together, the themes of fire and ice combine to tell a tale of harnessing the fury of nature, and unleashing it through the ambition and obsession of two completely different men. The book is set for a July 31st release.

June 9th, 2010 - TMG is proud to present the first glimpse of its next release, "The Medusa File", by investigative journalist Craig Roberts. Also on board with two completed novels, as well as a proposed collaboration with author Dallas Tanner, "The Medusa File" marks the first nonfiction title published by the Indie book, music and video publisher. Craig joins the Trilogus Media Group with no less than a dozen published works, and his debut effort is the result of a 10-year investigation into the facts regarding covert activities by our nation's government which history has relegated to urban myth and conspiracy theory. The book has a release date of July 4th, 2010, but advance copies will be available through the author's web site, at http://www.riflewarrior.com.
